I'd like to show you my lastest artwork based on a concept by Julio Cesar. If you don't know his work, go check him out. Here's the link to the original version: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Rnamy
Originally I tried to do this artwork about three years ago (2015!) but I failed really bad. So it stayed a long time in the back of my head. Finally, in 2018, I got the willpower to do it all over again. This is what I came up with.
The sculpting was done in ZBrush. Everything else in Blender. I'am really glad that I could finally find the time to finish this piece and to share it with you, so it's stops bothering me. The original concept, like most of Julio's work, is very graphical, so it was kinda hard to put everything into three dimensions. Additionally you'll find some clay renders which show the model a bit better.
Let me hear your thoughts and if you like it, give me a thumbs up.
Keep on keeping on!
